Shinde Focuses on Teamwork, Not Individual Credit, After Fadnavis-Only Ads Air
Amid recent speculation about a potential rift within the Maharashtra government, Chief Minister Eknath Shinde has downplayed concerns about individual credit following the release of advertisements featuring only Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis. The ads, released during the recent Anant Chaturdashi celebrations, show Mr. Fadnavis paying tribute to Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj and Lord Ganesh.
Shinde: “We’re a Team”
Responding to questions about his absence in the advertisements, CM Shinde emphasized the collaborative spirit of his government. “We are not in a race to claim credit,” he stated. “We function as a team, and our priority is serving the people of Maharashtra. Individual recognition is secondary to the collective good.”
Fadnavis’ Tribute to Shivaji Maharaj and Lord Ganesh
The advertisements showcased Deputy CM Fadnavis’ participation in the Anant Chaturdashi festivities, including paying respects to Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj and Lord Ganesh. These visuals, coupled with the absence of CM Shinde, fuelled speculation about a possible power dynamic within the ruling coalition.
