Chirag Paswan Targeted with Online Death Threat Before Bihar Elections

Union Minister and Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas) leader Chirag Paswan has become the target of a serious online threat. Party spokesperson Rajesh Bhatt revealed on Friday that Paswan received a death threat via Instagram and promptly filed a complaint with the Cyber Police Station in Patna.

The complaint identifies the Instagram user ‘Tiger Meraj Idisi’ as the source of the threat. Authorities are now investigating the account and the nature of the threat. Bhatt expressed concern over the incident and urged swift action from law enforcement.

Political Motivations Suspected Behind the Threat

While investigations are ongoing, the LJP spokesperson suggested a possible link between the death threat and Paswan’s increasing political influence in the lead-up to the crucial Bihar Assembly elections. The party believes this threat may be an attempt to intimidate Paswan and disrupt his political activities.
